Silk is a natural fiber made from the fiber that the silk-worms use to create their cocoons. The finest silks are made from mulberry leaves-fed silk-worms. It is a delicate job to rewind the cocoon and spun the yarn. The fiber resembles human hair, with a high keratin-content.

Silk is wowen or knitted into lightweight garments like bluses, skirts, dresses, palazzo-pants or scarfs or whatever. It is a costly fabric. Synthetic can resemble the look, but never the soft touch and delicate wear.
